Photography - art
Yes or no ?

MY REFLECTION

Is Photography Art? That’s the question at hand.

For the past few days and weeks, I’ve been pondering whether photography is truly an art form or simply a hobby.

The majority of photos we come across are often personal snapshots from vacations, birthdays, and weddings. In contrast, images found in magazines are usually skimmed over or regarded merely as advertisements, often failing to convey their deeper messages.

In photography, the details matter immensely. Passionate photographers recognize the significance of analyzing each image, appreciating the delicate balance of light and shadow. While many people scroll through pictures on social media platforms like Instagram and Facebook, few take the time to truly appreciate the artistry behind each shot. Let’s take a moment to pause, appreciate, and explore the narratives these images convey through elements such as light, shadow, and symmetry.

For me, photography is my art—a reflection of my perspective and emotions, capturing my personal state of mind. Vibrant photos symbolize joyful times in my life, while black and white images express a blend of both uplifting and somber feelings. Embracing each phase of my journey fuels my creativity and allows my photography to evolve.

I strive for my photos to forge a strong connection with viewers, enabling them to envision themselves in the scene and evoke treasured memories. Through these thoughtful compositions, I aim to leave a lasting impact, encouraging people to carry the image with them.

One of my favorite sayings is:

"Don’t judge people by their looks; it’s like judging a book by its cover. Take the time to read, understand, accept, and respect it."

This perspective is how I approach my art of photography.
